What to expect
This is a practical workshop introducing methods of preparing your own fresh moisturising cream and herbal balms using herbs such as marshmallow root, rose, lavender and even sea buckthorn to suit your skin type.
We will explore the preparation of herbal infusions and oils to use as cream making bases and you will be able to compile your own unique preparations to take away and use at home. This workshop aims to provide beginners with the necessary skills to begin their own personal adventure, armed with basic knowledge for differing skin types, appropriate herbal use and knowledge of important seasonal adjustments.
Need to know
This event will take place in The Herbernaculum workshop at White House Farm. All materials will be provided, but we would be grateful if you could bring an apron and gloves for use during the session if you have them. We will break for about half an hour when seasonal hot drinks and snacks will be provided.
