What to expect
Create from nature to make herbal creams, balms and oils for our minds, bodies and souls.
In this practical workshop we will forage and select available, fresh herbs and incorporate them into recipes. In the morning we’ll walk and gather the herbs, and make a floral water by distillation. In the afternoon we’ll create from a selection of creams, balms , aromatic atomisers and you’ll take home green pharmacy preparations. We will be out and about, walking amongst woodland and high grass, where we will have time to identify plants, forage and gather.
Need to know
This is a practical workshop that focuses on experimentation with natural ingredients and recipe making. We will be using The Herbernaculum workshop at White House Farm, with open outdoor spaces, weather permitting. It’s a small group size in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. All materials will be provided and you will be able to take away a set of your finished botanical remedies. Herbal teas and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own packed lunch. We will eat outside in the farm’s meadows if the weather is fair.
