Four Thieves Vinegar Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
Organic Apple Cider vinegar 1ltr
Garlic clove x 2 crushed
Shallot x 2 finely chopped
Black peppercorns 10/15 crushed
Cloves x 8/10 crushed
Fresh or dried herbs: use half dried to fresh quantities
Rosemary 1 heaped tablespoon dried herb.
Sage half heaped tablespoon dried herb.
Peppermint half heaped tablespoon dried herb.
Lavender half heaped tablespoon dried herb.
Thyme 1 heaped tablespoon dried herb.
Cinnamon bark 1 teaspoon.
Chilli pepper dried I teaspoon.
METHOD:
Grind, crush and chop all the herb ingredients and place into the vinegar solvent.
Leave to macerate for 3/4 weeks. Shake regularly. Store in darkness and cool temperature.
After the period of maceration strain the liquid vinegar solvent from the herbal Marc and ensure to squeeze out all the liquid.
Bottle, label and date your container ‘4 thieves vinegar’ for use throughout the winter.
