What to expect
Join Sarah for a winter inspired herbal honeys and Salts walking workshop.
We’ll take a gentle walk among the beautiful woodland at White House Farm, identifying trees and plants within their winter habitat and discussing local folk tradition and applications. Arriving at the open log fire in the glade we are surrounded by mighty poplars and the meandering river Alde. Whilst warming by the fire pit we will discuss the remarkable properties of the honey, herb and spice ingredients that we’ll be combining within our seasonal infusions. Each participant will create their own individual take-home Salt blend preparations for culinary use, and a honey infusion for use in syrups and warming drinks.
Need to know
All materials and equipment will be provided. We will break for a warm, herbal drink.
